This Sustainable Materials Management Inquiry Portal can be utilized to submit opportunities for WTS to collaborate with Covestro to responsibly identify alternative solutions to disposal for viable materials.
Excess, unused, spent, reclaimed, by-product, co-product, off-spec materials and slow-moving obsolete goods or expired virgin materials are entered through this portal to begin the process of evaluation. These materials maybe at Covestro Sites and sites within Covestro’s value chain, including customers, tollers, and warehouses.
This process seeks to responsibly qualify material for direct substitution, beneficial re-use, reclaim or secondary sales. This results in avoidance of traditional disposal while end users are provided a sustainable substitute for carbon-intensive raw materials. This helps put materials back into the value chain powering circular economy.
