One of our clients desired to add rail access to their truck transport only served facility. This would provide an opportunity for them to receive product and raw materials via rail and to ship waste materials to the end TSDF via rail. This solution would allow our client to achieve cost savings on transportation while achieving further success with their inbound materials program.

Our innovative environmental solution provided clear operational efficiencies, reduced costs, clear rail contracting responsibilities, and long-term price protection. In addition, as a unique benefit, WTS was able to partner with our client and provide to them the capital needed to overcome the hurdle of the investment required for the rail construction project. We provided the funds needed to help construct the rail siding.

Solutions many times require a process change, increased storage capacity or other capital investments to obtain the full cost savings available. The necessary capital may be difficult to obtain, but WTS is willing and able to provide the necessary capital contribution needed by our clients for them to achieve their full savings goals while partnering together for the long-term.
